We have completed work at the new Georges Chinese Cuisine located at the new Ikeja City Mall developed by ACTIS, a multi million dollar mixed use development located in the heart of Ikeja. The mall was designed by MDS Architects SA, working alongside James Cubitt Architects in Lagos, with Project Managers, Coffey Projects SA. The work is progressing with completion planned for the end of January 2012.
The new restaurant features a more contemporary design and an integration of the seating/serving area. Highlights include the use of LED Lights, Electrolux servery and Kitchen equipment, wall cladding in laminate, high gloss tiling, Bubble up lights, image panels and bespoke furniture, and designer Kartell chairs.

The ‘Georges Chinese Cuisine’ project case study looks at our distinctive and comtemporary solution to providing a restaurant which matches the high quality demanded from our client. The colourful design and furniture in the seating area has a strong architectural flair and seeks to exploit its location in an urban shopping centre. The restaurant makes a positive contribution to the local ambience of the food hall.

Georges Chinese Cuisine (Georges) is the leading Chinese takeaway service in Lagos. The food has been described as mouth watering and five star quality. Georges restaurants are currently located in The Palms, Lekki and at the Adeniran Ogunsanya Shopping Centre. Desmo UK carried out the complete design and fit out of the project.
